Characteristics of Women Having Abortions

Over half (56%) of all women having abortions between 15-44 are in their 20’s.
Nearly eight in 10 U.S. women obtaining an abortion report a religious affiliation.
- 43% are Protestant
- 27% are Catholic
- 8% are other religions
41% of women having abortions are white, 32% are black, and 20% are hispanic

Black and Hispanic women have higher abortion rates than non-Hispanic white women. Black women’s abortion rates are 49 per 1,000, Hispanic women’s are 33 per 1,000 and non-Hispanic white women’s are 13 per 1,000.

According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, the most recurrent characteristics of women having abortions over time are nonwhite, poor and unmarried.

African American Community

According to the CDC, each year 616,074 African Americans are born.
458,500 babies will have died from abortion.
284,877 blacks will have died that same year through anything from natural causes to heart disease.
There are 743,377 Africans Americans dying yearly. This number is 127,303 more than those that are born.
From 1973 to 2004, nearly 30% of the black population were erased through abortion. Out of the average 4,400 babies dying daily that are reported abortions, an estimated 1,300 are African American. They account for 32% of women having abortions yearly, yet make up only 13% of the American population. African American women are 3 times as likely to have an abortion than other women. …”

Lynchings Statistics

Tuskegee remains the single most complete source of statistics and records on this crime since 1882. As of 1959, which was the last time that their annual Lynch Report was published, a total of 4,733 persons had died as a result of lynching since 1882. To quote the report,

Dr. Nathanson further describes the ultrasound technique and shows examples of babies in the womb. Three-dimensional depiction of the developing fetus, from 4 weeks through 28 weeks. Display and usage of the abortionists’ tools, plus video of an abortionist performing a suction abortion. Dr. Nathanson discusses the abortionist who agreed to allow this abortion to be filmed with ultrasound. The abortionist was quite skilled, having performed more than 10,000 abortions. We discover that the resulting ultrasound of his abortion so appalled him that he never again performed another abortion. The clip begins with an ultrasound of the fetus (girl) who is about to be aborted. The girl is moving in the womb; displays a heartbeat of 140 per minute; and is at times sucking her thumb. As the abortionist’s suction tip begins to invade the womb, the child rears and moves violently in an attempt to avoid the instrument. Her mouth is visibly open in a “silent scream.” The child’s heart rate speeds up dramatically (to 200 beats per minute) as she senses aggression. She moves violently away in a pathetic attempt to escape the instrument. The abortionist’s suction tip begins to rip the baby’s limbs from its body, ultimately leaving only her head in the uterus (too large to be pulled from the uterus in one piece). The abortionist attempts to crush her head with his forceps, allowing it to be removed. In an effort to “dehumanize” the procedure, the abortionist and anesthesiologist refer to the baby’s head as “number 1.” The abortionist crushes “number 1” with the forceps and removes it from the uterus. Abortion statistics are revealed, as well as who benefits from the enormously lucrative industry that has developed. Clinics are now franchised, and there is ample evidence that many are controlled by organized crime. Women are victims, too. They haven’t been told about the true nature of the unborn child or the facts about abortion procedures. Their wombs have been perforated, infected, destroyed, and sterilized. All as a result of an operation about which they they have had no true knowledge. Films like this must be made part of “informed consent.” NARAL (National Abortion Rights Action League) and Planned Parenthood are accused of a conspiracy of silence, of keeping women in the dark about the reality of abortion. Finally, Dr. Nathanson discusses his credentials. He is a former abortionist, having been the director of the largest clinic in the Western world. …”

“…Mr. Obama‘s budget projects that 2011 will see the biggest one-year debt jump in history, or nearly $2 trillion, to reach $15.476 trillion by Sept. 30, the end of the fiscal year. That would be 102.6 percent of GDP — the first time since World War II that dubious figure has been reached.

And the budget projects the government will run a deficit of $1.645 trillion this year, topping 2009’s previous record by more than $230 billion. By contrast, 2007’s deficit was just $160 billion altogether.

Still, amid the other staggering numbers in the budget Mr. Obama sent to Congress on Monday, the debt stands out because Congress will need to vote to raise the debt limit later this year, and because the numbers are so large.

In one often-cited study, economists Carmen Reinhart and Ken Rogoff have argued that when a nation’s gross debt passes 90 percent it hinders overall economic growth. The government measures debt several ways. Debt held by the public includes the money borrowed from Social Security’s trust fund.

“…The annual budget process, or appropriations process, mainly concerns approximately one-third of the budget. This one-third of the budget, called the discretionary budget, is what Congress debates and sets the levels for on an annual basis. Examples of discretionary spending include the military and education programs.The other two-thirds of the federal budget is referred to as mandatory spending. These are programs, primarily entitlement programs, which Congress controls by setting out eligibility rules or other payment guidelines. Examples are Food Stamps and Social Security. Thus, the appropriations process is basically automatic. The numbers given in the budget every year are estimates based on the eligibility or payment rules.The annual budget process comprises a series of steps visible to the public:

Step 1: President Submits a Budget Proposal;
Step 2: Congress Passes a Budget Resolution;
Step 3: Congressional Subcommittees ‘Markup’ Appropriation Bills;
Step 4: The House and Senate Vote on Appropriation Bills and Reconcile Differences;
Step 5: The President Signs each Appropriation Bill and the Budget is Enacted.

First Monday in February	President submits the ‘budget request’: The President’s Budget is a proposal for the coming fiscal year which will start on October 1st and run through September 30th of the following year. For example, FY2010 began on October 1, 2009 and ended September 30, 2010.This proposal follows a lengthy preparation process which largely determines the priorities of the budget.Initially, the President and Cabinet decide policy priorities. Based on these priorities, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), which is part of the Executive Branch, gives guidelines to federal agencies instructing them how to prepare their strategic plans and budgets. The agencies then submit their budget requests and write documents defending their budget requests. These budget documents are also submitted to the appropriations committee of the House and Senate.The OMB evaluates these documents and prepares the budget request (the President’s Budget). The President’s Budget comes out in five thick volumes including: Budget of the US Government Analytical Perspectives Historical Tables Appendix Budget Systems and Concepts The President’s Budget can be viewed on-line and downloaded from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), purchased through the Government Printing Office, and many libraries obtain copies.
February-mid-April	The House and Senate pass a budget resolution: After the President submits his budget, the House and Senate traditionally prepare budget resolutions. A ‘budget resolution’ is a framework for making budget decisions about spending and taxes. It does not set binding spending amounts for particular programs. After the two chambers pass their budget resolutions, a joint conference is formed to reconcile the two versions which is then voted on by each chamber.
Late Spring-Early Fall	The House and Senate subcommittees ‘markup’ appropriation bills: Based on the budget resolution, the Appropriation Committee of each chamber sets allocations for each of its subcommittees (12 in the House and 12 in the Senate)Each committee takes the budget requests and justifications submitted by agencies, conducts hearings and does follow-ups with agencies to obtain answers to questions about the agency requests. Based on all of this information, each committee writes a first draft of its appropriation bill. This is called the ‘chairman’s mark’. The committee then votes on its bill and after passage, it moves back to the appropriations committee. The appropriations committee reviews and sends it to the floor for a vote, attaching any special riders that it deems necessary.To find out the status and membership of each subcommittee, go to the Senate Appropriations Committee, and the House Appropriations Committee.Alongside the process of appropriations, there may be one or more pieces of tax or other legislation affecting federal revenues.
Summer-Early Fall (in practice, through December)	Floor Votes: The individual appropriation bills are debated and voted on by their respective chambers. After both versions of a particular appropriation bill are passed in their respective chambers, a conference committee is set up to resolve differences between the House and Senate versions. The House and Senate both vote on a conference report for each bill. Each one is then signed by the President.You can always obtain the Status of Appropriation Bills. October 1st	Budget is Enacted: The President must sign each appropriation bill after it has passed Congress. When he has signed all of the bills, the budget is enacted. However, the process is not normally finished by October 1st. In FY 2011, for example, Congress will likely not complete the budget process until December of this year.If the budget is not enacted by October 1st, Congress must pass “continuing resolutions” in order for the government to continue its functions. These resolutions simply continue funding for agencies and programs at current levels until the budget for the fiscal year is enacted.
October 11th	The Government Accountability Office should begin overseeing how the money is spent.

In October 2008 the United States Civilian Labor Force Level peaked at an estimated 154,953,000 or about 155 million.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics defines the labor force as all civilians classified as employed and unemployed.

The employed are those who work for pay for themselves or someone else or who work 15 hours or more as unpaid workers in a family-operated business.

Also included among the employed are those who were temporarily absent from work for reasons such as illness and child-care problems.

The unemployed include individuals who had no job but were available for work and looking for employment.

The civilian labor force grows approximately 100,000 to 150,000 each month from population growth as new entrants into the labor market either graduate or drop-out from high school and college and seek employment or their first job in the labor market.

Had the economy not gone into a recession in 2008 and 2009, the United States Labor Force Level would have grown approximately 2,700,000 to 3,700,000 over the 27 month period ending January 31, 2011.

In other words the civilian labor force level should be between 157,700,000 and 158,700,000 due to population growth alone by the end of 2010.

Yet in January 2011 the total estimated civilian labor force level was only 153,186,000 well below the peak level of October 2008 and the expected normal population growth levels.

The United States economy is simply not creating enough jobs each month to keep up with population growth as new entrants enter the labor market to seek employment.

In order to reduce the official unemployment rate by .1% each month requires the creation of between 250,000 and 300,000 jobs per month.

The 300,000 jobs per month number includes new entrants into the labor force of about 150,000 plus another 150,000 or .1% of the civilian labor force.

Thus to reduce the official unemployment rate or U-3 by 1% per year requires the creation of approximately 3,600,000 jobs per year.

The 250,000 jobs per month number includes new entrants into the labor force of about 100,000 plus another 150,000 or .1% of the civilian labor force.

Thus to reduce the official unemployment rate or U-3 by 1% per year requires at the bare minimum the creation of approximately 3,000,000 jobs per year.

The United States economy has been creating less than half this number of new jobs.

The situation is actually much worse.

The civilian labor force participation rate represents the proportion of the working-age population either working or actively looking for work and is the relative size of labor resources available for the production of the United States economy goods and service.

The civilian labor force participation rate rose fairly steadily for more than six decades hitting a peak of 67.2% in March 2001.

The civilian labor force participation rate is normally between 66% and 67%.

However starting in December 2009 and continuing into February 2011 the civilian labor force participation rate had fallen below 65%.

Over 6.6 million americans are so discouraged by the current unemployment situation that they have left the labor market.

BLS U-3 Unemployment Rate Explained

The U.S. employment level hit a peak in November 2007 at 146,504,000.

When President Bush left office in January 2009 the U.S. employment level had declined by over 3.3 million jobs to a level of 142,202,000.

Under President Obama the U.S employment level has declined even further by over 2.9 million jobs to a level of 139,323,00 in January 2011.

The U.S economy has lost over 7. 2 million jobs from November 2007 through January 2011.

Last week the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported the unemployment rate declined from 9.4% to 9.0% while only 36,000 new non-farm jobs were actually created.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics also reported upwardly revised numbers of 121,000 new non-farm jobs created in December 2010 and 93,000 new non-farm jobs created in November 2010.

While the number of new non-farm jobs was barely enough to keep up with population growth and new entrants into the labor market, it simply was no where near the range of 250,000 to 300,000 new jobs per month necessary to decreased the unemployment rate by .1%.

Yet according the the Bureau of Labor Statistics the unemployment rate dropped from 9.8% in November 2010 to 9% in January, 2011 or a total of .8% in just two month.

This would have required the creation of over 1,750,000 to 2,100,000 in just two months.

This did not happen and nobody believes it did including the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Economic growth rates for the economy would have to be over 8% to create from 875,000 to over 1,000,000 jobs per month. The current rate of economic growth for gross domestic product is 3.25%.

The only way to get a drop of this magnitude in the unemployment rate is for more than 2 million people to have been so discouraged as to have left the labor force by not looking for work.

In other words the civilian labor force participation rate would have to decline dramatically, which it has if you believe the Bureau of Labor Statistics numbers.

But did it?

I for one do not buys this.

It is becoming increasing apparent that the President and the White House through the Secretary of Labor have brought political pressure to bear on the Bureau of Labor statistics to manipulate the employment statistics to show that the official unemployment rate is falling and will soon be under 9%.

With the exception of President Franklin D. Roosevelt in the 1930s who was re-elected as President with un-employment rates over 14%, no President since then has been re-elected with rates of un-employment exceeding 9% for over 21 months.

President Obama desperately needs the unemployment rate to fall below 9% and even 8% if he is to have any chance of being re-elected President of the United States.

This can be accomplished by making a political adjustment to the civilian labor participation rate by gradually lowering over several months the actually observed monthly rate.

When you are unemployed and need money to put food on the table and a roof over your head, you do not stop seeking employment no matter how discouraged you are.

Congress should investigate these unbelievable unemployment rate numbers by having the Secretary of Labor and head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics questioned by the appropriate Congressional House Committees.

Also, the time has come for a whistleblower to come forward and tell what is going on at the Department of Labor.

The official level of unemployment measured by U-3 dropped from 15,041,000 in November 2010 to 13,863,00 in January 2011 or a decline of over 1.2 million.

The only way for this to happen is to reclassify those who would normally be considered unemployed to discourage workers no longer considered in the civilian labor force resulting in lower labor participation rates.

Well if you believe those numbers then I suggest you look at what Gallup estimates the unemployment rate to be:

When you look at the Gallups’s underemployment rate and compare it with BLS U-6 total unemployment rate you see that Gallup is much higher and increasing compared to the rapidly falling U-6 rate in January 2011.

The Associated Press actually reported that the decline in the unemployment rates was the fastest in more than half a century.

Some economists blame it on snow, others consider it to be a snow job!

The hardest hit by unemployment are 16-19 yearolds, blacks and hispanics with unemployment rates of 25.7%, 15.7% and 11.9% in January 2011 respectively.

No Coal, No Power, No Gas

“…The Texas blackouts are a foretaste of what the rest of the country can expect, given the concerted effort of the Obama administration to shut down coal generating plants and to place obstacles in the way of coal mining. Just weeks ago, the EPA revoked the permit for Arch Coal’s Spruce Number One mine in Virginia, one of the largest coal mining projects in the country. For the past two years, in fact, the EPA has pursued a hyper-aggressive program of enforcement that seems intended to price coal electrical generation out of the market. As in Texas, plans for new coal power plants have been scrubbed. They have been replaced by plants powered by natural gas, and by heavily subsidized wind and solar generation.

The problem is that natural gas plants have not come on line quickly enough to replace the coal generation that has been lost, and wind and solar, which make up only 1% of power generation anyway, are inherently unreliable. The wind does not blow all the time, nor does the sun shine at night. Had the US retained its reliable base of coal power generation, there would be less danger of further blackouts. As it is, much of the country is in danger of experiencing outages similar to those in Texas.

Ironically, the US is in danger of power blackouts at a time when it is exporting greater and greater amount of coal to China and other countries. Already, America is sending 80 million tons of coal overseas, but plans are underway to increase exportsby 10% in 2011. Countries overseas understand that coal is the cheapest and most reliable form of energy available for producing electrical power. At a time when America is curtailing its coal generating capacity, China and India are building one new coal generating plant every week. And America is shipping its vital resources overseas even as its citizens are left, quite literally, out in the cold. …”

The Weather Isn’t Getting Weirder

The latest research belies the idea that storms are getting more extreme.

“…Some climate alarmists would have us believe that these storms are yet another baleful consequence of man-made CO2 emissions. In addition to the latest weather events, they also point to recent cyclones in Burma, last winter’s fatal chills in Nepal and Bangladesh, December’s blizzards in Britain, and every other drought, typhoon and unseasonable heat wave around the world.

But is it true? To answer that question, you need to understand whether recent weather trends are extreme by historical standards. The Twentieth Century Reanalysis Project is the latest attempt to find out, using super-computers to generate a dataset of global atmospheric circulation from 1871 to the present.

As it happens, the project’s initial findings, published last month, show no evidence of an intensifying weather trend. “In the climate models, the extremes get more extreme as we move into a doubled CO2 world in 100 years,” atmospheric scientist Gilbert Compo, one of the researchers on the project, tells me from his office at the University of Colorado, Boulder. “So we were surprised that none of the three major indices of climate variability that we used show a trend of increased circulation going back to 1871.”

In other words, researchers have yet to find evidence of more-extreme weather patterns over the period, contrary to what the models predict. “There’s no data-driven answer yet to the question of how human activity has affected extreme weather,” adds Roger Pielke Jr., another University of Colorado climate researcher.

We do know that carbon dioxide and other gases trap and re-radiate heat. We also know that humans have emitted ever-more of these gases since the Industrial Revolution. What we don’t know is exactly how sensitive the climate is to increases in these gases versus other possible factors—solar variability, oceanic currents, Pacific heating and cooling cycles, planets’ gravitational and magnetic oscillations, and so on.

Given the unknowns, it’s possible that even if we spend trillions of dollars, and forgo trillions more in future economic growth, to cut carbon emissions to pre-industrial levels, the climate will continue to change—as it always has. …”
